We built the operating system
before we built the advisory.
Most hospital advisory firms sell consulting. MedOps was the reverse: we ran a geriatric department for seven years under a formal research programme with Prof. Dr. Rainer Sibbel at Frankfurt School, documenting what actually moved the operational metrics versus what only moved the slide decks.
The result is the five-layer operating system — ANCHOR, ORBIT, PRIME, FLOW, and CAPTURE — and the reference site at Main-Kinzig-Kliniken Schlüchtern: 17.6% LOS reduction, 36% throughput increase, weekend discharge rate from 3.8% to 21.0%, three consecutive years as the department of highest margin in the trust. Numbers that survived peer-review scrutiny because the methodology did.
MedOps exists to transplant what we built — selectively, because most hospital cultures cannot absorb the methodology without the operational discipline to hold it. We take four to six engagements per year. We decline the rest, and we decline them honestly.
